Fairy Tale Portraits

Simply put, a fairy tale portrait is a picture that is artistically created in photoshop.  This is better known as a Composite image.   

Fairy tale / composite portraits are a form of Fine art.  Each portrait is one of a kind and designed for the purpose of entertainment and whimsey.  It is not intended to be an accurate depiction of the people or places shown.  

Fairy Tale Portraits are best photographed in studio where the lighting can be controlled.  The subject will pose on a blank background, often called a green screen...however the background is not always green.  The plain background makes it faster and easier to isolate the subject in photoshop.  

Why be basic when you can be extra??  

Fairy Tale portraits make great stationary, wall art, and photo gifts.  Kids and adults love playing dress up and make believe.  The squeals of delight coming from kids and parents when they see their finished portrait is what I enjoy the most!
