the photographer and artist behind Brisson Imagery.  Since 2015, I've created intentional portraits for children and families throughout Mount Pleasant, Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry. 

As a mother and grandmother, I know how quickly childhood changes and how often the smallest expressions, gestures and relationships become the things we most want to remember. 

 The result is portraiture that feels polished without feeling stiff: true-to-life color, authentic expression and a touch of artistry.  Some sessions are quiet and timeless, others are imaginative, editorial and built around a story.  Every session is planned around the people being photographed rather than a formula.  

In my Mount Pleasant home studio and on location throughout Charleston, including downtown, local gardens, clients' homes and the beaches of Isle of Palms.  I work with both studio lighting and natural light, choosing what best supports the mood and purpose of each portrait. 

I also photograph newborns, families, high school seniors, couples, pets, professional headshots, branding portraits, as well as weddings and events.  Every client is welcome, and every session receives the same thoughtful planning and personal attention.    

and I have been recognized by Expertise.com as one of Charleston's Best Family Photographers every year since 2018. Brisson Imagery was also voted Best Photographer by Mount Pleasant Magazine in 2025 and 2026.  I'm grateful for those honors, but the greatest compliment is seeing a family choose to display one of my portraits in their home.
